PROJECT 2 :
STRUCTURE AND BODY: MATERIALS, ANTHROPOMETRIC AND ERGONOMIC EXPLORATION 1: 1 BAMBOO ACTIVITY STRUCTURE
PROJECT BRIEF
This is a group assignment that is
to introduce anthropometry, ergonomics, and their relationship to form and space, as well as to raise awareness of them.
We are separated into 5 groups and 5 different topics to design the structures. My group for the bamboo project is for safekeeping. The bamboo structure must in a 1:1 scale and not exceed 8m3 in size. We are allowed to use some supporting materials such as tensile fabric, rope, and steel to complete the bamboo structure. We are required to do a test model before starting to build up the structure.

REFLECTION
Communication is key to success. Good communication can make the difference between confident, motivated members and an unproductive team with low morale. It builds thriving relationships and gives people the information they need to contribute to the success of the business. That's the most important lesson that I learned from this assignment.
For architectural knowledge, I learned what is anthropometry and ergonomics. Not only that, I noticed that a good plan is really important for doing construction. Correct and accurate 's measurement is one of the keys to building up a structure. Before selecting the materials, we must have enough knowledge and understanding about the materials which could support the structure or not. Besides, I learned that there are various types of methods to tie a rope to make the structure more stable.
Lastly, I noticed that in a project financial management is one of the keys. This is because our group used almost RM2000 to complete the whole assignment including the cost of buying materials to do the test model. There are already exceed far away from our budget.
